In the Medieval-fantastic Roleplay Keeps and dragons , the giant constitute one of the great races, having appeared at the beginning of the creation of the world, like the elves and the dwarves.

Species

In the standard cosmology of D&D, there exist 6 races of giants " communs".

  • giant of the clouds , which are believed higher than the other giants, except those of the storms.
  • giant of fire , the warlike giants to the spirit military and resembling morphologiquement red-headed dwarves.
  • giant of white frost , the plunderers living in snow-covered mountains.
  • the giant of hills , little civilized and alive recluse.
  • giant of stone , cousins of the giants of the hills, more civilized and non-malefic.
  • giant of the storms , pacifist living in castles perched on clouds.

There also exists of other subspecies, much rarer, like:

  • the cyclops

  • the Verbeeg S
  • the Fomorian S
  • the firbolgs , living the islands Selenae.
  • giant of the deserts
  • giant of the forests
  • giant of the sun , nomads which raise cattle.
  • giant of the ocean , having a cut in front in the place of the legs.
  • giant of the mountains , a colossal size and very violent one.

These species can be only of distances cousins of the race, but it form part of it.
