Gianni Motta

Gianni Motta (born the March 13rd 1943) is a cyclist Italy N which began its professional path in 1964 in the team Molteni .

It was one of the declared adversaries of the cannibal Eddy Merckx.

It finished 3rd turn of France 1965 behind Felice Gimondi, the revelation of this turn, and the eternal second Raymond Poulidor.

After an excellent beginning of career, he suffered starting from 1967 from a mysterious evil in the leg. It is only in 1970 that the medical community discovered the cause of the evil: a blood clot in the femoral artery which harmed much its very promising career.
