Gianfranco Cecchin

Gianfranco Cecchin (August 22nd, 1932 - February 2nd, 2004), is a Italian psychiatrist, founder with Mara Selvini Palazzoli, Luigi Boscolo and Giuliana Prata, of the systemic movement of family Thérapie called " Approaches Milan".

The " Group of Milan" begin its activity in 1971 pennies the influence of work resulting from the École of Palo-Viola, in particular those of Paul Watzlawick. In 1981, after the departure of Mara Selvini Palazzoli and Giuliana Prata, Cecchin founds with Luigi Boscolo the Center of Family Therapy of Milan.
