Giacomo Doria

The Marquis Giacomo Doria is a Italian Naturaliste , born on November 1st 1840 and dead the September 19th 1913.

He discovers the Natural history thanks to the botanist Ferdinando Rosellini (1817-1873), the father Armand David (1826-1900), famous for his explorations of China and Tibet, and Luigi De Negri, taxidermist at the university of the city and specialist in the questions of fishing. He is the founder and the first director of the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale of Genoa the April 24th 1867.
