Ghjuventù Indipendentista

The Co Ghjuventù Indipendentista (GI, Corsica Gate for “independence Youth”), is a founded Syndicat studying in 1999 with the Université of Corsica. Its creation starts from a report: the young people do not lay out more than one structure allowing to fall under the independence fight . The existing trade unions with Corte were concentrated on a strictly university role and could not answer the aspirations of Corsican youth any more.

Their political approach is resolutely in the fight of national release (Co '' has Lotta di Liberazione Naziunale '') which aims at the responsibilisation and consequently the emancipation of the Corsican people. For this trade union, the indissociable concepts of People and Nation represent nonnegotiable central values. They found and legitimate an action registered in the right wire of the fights of the patriotic Corsican against the colonial dominations successive. They politically open the way with the implementation of a comprehensive solution, based on the recognition in right of the Corsican nation.
