Ghislain Bouchard
Born with the Lake St-Jean on June 1st, 1932, Ghislain Bouchard makes traditional studies with the Seminar of Chicoutimi, academics to the Faculty of Arts and social sciences of the Laval University, then in Harvard in Massachussets.
Dedicated with the university education since 1955, it shares its time between teaching and the administration, as well at the Business school of Chicoutimi as at the Training center of the Masters and the University of Quebec with Chicoutimi. It founds there a school known as “of French language and Québécois culture” in 1974. This one accommodates more than twelve thousand students not-French-speaking people in eighteen years. The School marks also the beginnings of the national career of its director, in turn president of the Québécois Association of the French schools, then the Council of the programmes of languages second in Canada. He is member of the Council of the French life in America.
Among the regional initiatives and the responsibilities which he assumed, let us underline its action in the field of the co-operation, of the radio and Community television, its cultural activities with the Carnival-Memory and the cultural Fair of the UQAC.
Frightening gastronome, it founds clubs of mycologists and oenophilists, attaches as much importance to the culture of its pinks and its tulips that to the setting in scene or the trout fishing.
Deputy manager of the Thirteen of the Laval University, with the beginning of the year '50, it continues a career parallel with the theater: foundation of the “Theater of the Slope” (1955), the “Pot” (1961), of the “Pédagos” (1962) and of “Théâtruc” (1970). It initiated hundreds of students to the theater and the setting in scene. Its various teams gained more than twenty-five trophies, in particular with the Festival of dramatic art of Canada, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Montreal, Jonquière, Chicoutimi and Vancouver like with the Maria-Chapdelaine Festival in Alma.
Guest to create a work with the House of youth in Expo '67, it also produces several radiophonic and televisual works for several networks. One owes him the setting in scene of a hundred spectacles, theaters, operettas, operas comic or musical comedies. He wrote eight spectacles in historical matter. Its last work the fabulous history of a kingdom, in addition to gaining seven trophies whose four nationals, will see soon its hundredth representation and its two hundred thousandths spectator and will know a second season in France in 1992.

He is the instigator of the spectacle with high deployment, the fabulous history of a kingdom to Saguenay.
