Ghiffa
Ghiffa is a common of approximately: 2400 inhabitants, located in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in the area of the Piedmont, at the North-West of the Italy.
Geography
Ghiffa, located at approximately 120 km in the North-East of Turin, and at 7 km in the North-East of Verbania, rises at an altitude of 201 m to the top of the sea level. Built on a small headland, the commune, famous for its villas of the 19th century surrounded by gardens, dominates the Lake Maggiore.Ghiffa is also known for its center of cures at a watering-place, in which the patients profit from “climatic” treatments.
