Ghôr

Ghôr (also Ghûr , Ghur or Ghor ) is a mountainous province of the center of the Afghanistan. Its capital is Tchaghtcharân.

It is the cradle of the dynasty of the Ghurides which conquered the north of the historical India at the end of the 12th century.
