Ghât

The word ghât - steps - indicates in India the steps which recover banks of the River or the banks of the basins or tank S and make it possible to go down in contact with water.

By extension, ghât is also the name of the two assembly lines, the Eastern Ghâts Western and the Ghâts , which enclose the plate of the Dekkan and go down respectively towards the Mer from Oman and the Bay of Bengal.
