Gewehr 93
The Mauser Gewehr (18) 93 is the first repeating rifle of the German firm to know one big hit with export after its adoption by the Spain in 1893 to arm its infantry. It was replaced in 1943 by the Mauser 1943 which is only one modified copy of the Karabiner 98k. Besides the Factory of weapons of Oviedo and the Fabrique of weapons of Corogne manufactured them under various alternatives until in 1957.
Mauser 93
Rifle Mauser Spanish 1893 is built out of wood and forged steel. It has a right stick also forming was. and a hand-shield runs out of wood. The ATS arming lever is right. The cylinder head with rotary bolt includes/understands two former tenons of locking. The internal store is fed by blade-charger not introduced. The extractor does not turn. Alternatives of Mauser 93
- Snap hook 1893: shortened version equipped with a curved ATS arming lever intended for the telegraphist, machine gunners and troops of the genious
- Rifle 1895: model runs. Also equipped with an ATS arming lever bent. The barrel is long. It does not receive a bayonet. The rise is only graduated of 100 with: 1400 Mr. the handlebar is protected by ears. The strap is fixed laterally. It armed riding and artillerists.
- Snap hook 1916: it is an altered Snap hook 1893. The gun is less long. The hand-shield is shortened or absent.
- Mousqueton T-1916: M1916 snap hook transformed by the assembly of a new gun into 7,62 NATO and of a hold of store.
- FR-7: Snap hook 1916 equipped with the gun and the bodies of aiming of the rifle of attack CETME B/C
Mauser 1943,1944 and FR-8
- Mauser 1943 : copy 98K of Wehrmacht provided with the difference of German rifle of a hand-shield wrapping the rise, additional side fasteners and a removable tenon to assemble the bayonet of Mauser 93.
- Mauser 1944: version adopted by the air force equipped with a handlebar with ear.
- FR-8: Mauser 1943 equipped with the gun and the bodies of aiming of the rifle of attack CETME B/C.
