Geta (common of Finland)
Geta is a municipality territory of Åland, territory Finnish autonomous located in the Baltic having the Swedish like only official language. In Geta, 91% of the population have as a native tongue Swedish.
It is the commune more in north of Fasta Åland , the principal island of Åland. The village centers, built around its medieval church, is located at 40 km of the capital Mariehamn. The commune of Geta account 14 other villages not counting each one not more few tens of inhabitants. The mount Getabergen, á proximity of the administrative center, is the second higher hill of the territory of Åland.
The only land borders are with the commune of Finström, but Hammarland and Saltvik is just separated from Geta by small arms of the sea.
