Gerzat

Gerzat is a common French, located in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area of Auvergne. Gerzat belongs to the urban surface of Clermont-Ferrand.

Its inhabitants is called Gerzatois.

Geography

The commune of Gerzat is located in the northern suburbs of Clermont-Ferrand. It is surrounded by the communes of Clermont-Ferrand, Cébazat, Saint-Beauzire, Malintrat, Aulnat, Lussat.

Gerzat is located on the edge of the plain of the Limagne. The commune is crossed by the Rivière Bedat which is channeled in the basement of the city. The highway A71 borders the part Is city. It is located near the Chaîne of Puys. It is also close to the airport of Clermont Auvergne (common of Aulnat).
