Gerry Thomas

Gerry Thomas (1922 - July 18th 2005) was a commercial representative states-unien. He invented the TV dinner in 1954, even if he did not have a Télévision at his place at this time.

Basing on its Military experiment as a which dealt with serving his/her colleagues in the army, it developed a plate with three compartments, which was similar to the plates of use aboard the civil aircrafts of this time. The first year of production, it sold 10 million meal.

It became responsible for the sales when Campbell Soup acquired her employer, Swanson, in 1955. It took its retirement in 1970, after a Heart attack. During its retirement, it was consulting and directed a Art gallery.

Ironically, Thomas was a Cuisinier gourmet and his Susan wife affirmed that he had never eaten a TV Dinner. Its “paternity” badly put it at ease, him which claimed to have only put together various ideas.
