Gerry Sklavounos

Gerry Sklavounos is a politician Québécois. He is the liberal deputy in the district of Bay-tree-Dorion since the election of 2007.

Biography

Gerry Sklavounos is member of the Barreau of Quebec since 1999. He is holder of a diploma in law obtained in 1998 with distinction of the Université McGill.

After its studies of right, it supplemented a training course at the federal minister of Justice in criminal right.

Before its candidature, Gerry Sklavounos practices the right as defense counsel at Silver Sandiford Avocats, cabinet to which it joint in 2004. Previously, Gerry Sklavounos works as defense counsel for the legal Community center of Montreal (2000 - 2004).

In addition, hardly a few months before its candidature for the Liberal party of Quebec, he was member of the democratic Action of Quebec. This adhesion would have been subscribed in support to Tom Pendefountas, near to the family Sklavounos, then vice-president of the democratic Action of Quebec.

Before its election, Gerry Sklavounos was member of the board of directors of the Foundation of grants like vice-president public relations and adviser for the Hellenic Congress of Canada. In 2005, it has participle with the televised legal private clinic of the Greek emission of the Total CH channel.
