Germany-in-Provence

Germany-in-Provence ( Alemanha de Provença in Of Provence according to the traditional Standard and Alemagno de Prouvènço according to the Standard mistralienne) is a common French, located in the department of the Alp-of-High-Provence and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.
The name of the village has nothing to do with the Germanic one, but comes from a Gallic goddess of the fertility (Alemona) venerated by a Roman garrison installed on the site of the current castle.
Its inhabitants is called Armagnois/Allemagniens.
