German confederal act
The German confederal Acte ( of Deutsche Bundesakte ) was the Constitution of the Germanic Confédération and was adopted on June 8th, 1815, at the time of the Congrès of Vienna. It was supplemented by the final act of Vienna ( of Wiener Schlussakte ) concluded on November 25th, 1819 and come into effect on June 8th, 1820.
It was suspended on July 12th, 1848 following the Révolution of Mars, but the failure of the constitutional project of the Parlement of Frankfurt caused the failure of the revolution and the Act was given in application on November 29th, 1850. It became null and void on August 24th, 1866 with the dissolution of the Confederation and the last meeting of the confederal Parliament.
