German Jules François Maisonneuve

Jules Germain François Maisonneuve (1809 - 1897) is a French surgeon; he was student of Guillaume Dupuytren. Maisonneuve was the first doctor to explain the role of external rotation in the fractures of the hip. The fracture which bears its name is described like a specific fibrous fracture.
