Gerard Schaller

Gerard Schaller (born on September 17th, 1958 with Antony) is a journalist French.

After studies of Public relations and Economic scenes, it obtained the diploma of the Training center of the Journalists, street from Louvre in Paris (1981).

Press

Former trainer of athletics and impassioned sport, it entered to the Team Magazine and took part in it in the launching of its new formula (1982).

Writer then international reporter, he became assistant editor association about it (1989) before launching, on behalf of the same press group Amaury (the Parisian one, the Team) - in partnership with the German group Axel Springer Verlag -, a semi-monthly of data processing general public “ Computer More ” (1998), of which he was editor association (1999).

Edition

Of return to the Team, after a passage to the Parisian (recasting of the departmental pages), it took an active part in the development of the sector editions. Among its achievements, two rough works presented in the form of boxes:
  • 1896-2004: From Athens to Athens ” (560 pages, 2 volumes), on the history of the Olympic Games, appeared in October 2003 and whose international edition was sold in ten country,

  • XV of France: the great adventure ” (512 pages), on the history of the team of France of Rugby, appeared in October 2006.

It also produced guides for the daily newspaper the Team , as well as books over the season of the French fifteens (2004-2005) and the season of Formula 1 (2005) for MaxiLivres .

Except books, he was also the author of a CD-ROM, “ the legend of the century ” (2000), diaries school the Team (2001 and 2002) and of a board game, “ the team game ” published by the Team and Ravensburger (2002).
