Gerard Fur

Gerard Fur is the managing director, since January 2007, of Sanofi Aventis. It succeeded Jean-François Dehecq which preserved the presidency of the board of directors.

1982-1986: director of biology in Rhône-Poulenc Group

1986: assistant editor, research and development at Sanofi, then directing of research at Sanofi-synthélabo.

Distinctions

1999: Gerard the fur was elected Correspondant of the Academy of Science

2003: Elected official Member of Academy of Science

1983 and 2000 it received the Galien price.

2004, it received the Price about the pharmacists
