Gerard Brach

Gerard Brach (born the July 23rd 1927 and deceased the September 9th 2006 of the continuations of a lung cancer), was a realizer and scenario writer French. Major scenario writer of the French cinema by his faculty to adapt to any type of universe all while bringing there a key of tinted blackness of cynicism, Brach was the recurring collaborator of Roman Polanski. He collaborated on several occasions with Jean-Jacques Annaud on difficult adaptations such as the name of the pink (1986) (according to Umberto Eco) and the Lover (1992) (according to Marguerite Duras). He signs his last scenario also adapted by Annaud: Its Majesty Minor (2007).
