Gerard Ansaloni

Gerard Ansaloni is a poet, author, type-setter, orchestrator and interprets French.

After a musical formation, in particular in class of song to the Conservatory of Bordeaux, he carries on various artistic activities (professor of musical education, technician of the sound).

He turns into 1993 to an artistic career while taking part in Francofolies of the La Rochelle and while occurring in various places dedicated to the music. He takes part in several emissions like “Under stars exactly” or “Pollen, the buddies initially” on France Inter.

Gerard Ansaloni was born the Holy-Foy-the-Large on July 2nd, 1958 with , small town of South-west crushed of sun located between Bergerac and Bordeaux on the course of the Dordogne. During its humanities with the College Camille-Jullian of Bordeaux, and after a short passage to the academy in class of song, it ensures, in company of his friend Jean Philippe Chaumont, the first parts of Bernard Dimey, Bernard Lavilliers, Germinal and Gilles Elbaz which occur between 1975 and 1979 with the cabaret of “the Court of the Miracles” in Bordeaux. The friend Jean Philippe, tragically deceased during his twenty-fifth year, will become one of the recurrent themes of the poetry of Gerard Ansaloni. Friend, in the same way, from Olivier Cacouault, type-setter of songs for choral society, it learns under his cane what is not taught: poetry. One finds it during the years 1987 and 1988 in Paris being formed with the novel methods of the Musique computer-assisted (MAO) with faculty Saint Charles, department audio-visual of the Sorbonne. It composes during these years for Nathalie Corène (Night of Jazz, Partir.) and for friend (E) S of meeting (black butcher's-broom, Adeline, Novels.). It polishes its “Humanities” with the Studio C as a technician MIDDAY (Musical Instrument DIGITAL Interface) during the year 1989, year during which it works with the initiator of the musics known as of Rapp: DeeNasty. There it meets also this year, the singer Amina come to record with the Do studio, like his companion, the producer Martin Messonier.

From 1990 to 1995 it makes profitable its knowledge acquired in the field of the composition, the programming on computer and the poetic writing by writing innumerable texts and musics.

In 1996, whereas it is 38 years old, Pierre Barouh, creator of the Editions Saravah, proposes to him to record a first album; it will be “the Banquet”, mixes chant and of music for full orchestra initiating Rapp with the Frenchwoman. Between 1995 and 2000 it occurs with the Coffee of the Dance, with Kiron Space, Francofolies, then in Canada within the framework of the festival of the Poetry of Three rivers, always in company of Pierre Barouh, in Montreal, in Quebec. It côtoie via its editor, Francoise Kuchéida, Daniel Thousand, Bia, Pierre Louki, Fred Chicken, Eric Guilleton, Aram Sédéfian, Gerard Pierron. ; strange years during which, always under the aegis of Pierre Barouh, these talents as various occur together as it is possible to be it.

2000: it is the year of the meeting with Mathias Vincenot, part-time lecturer of French Civilization to the Sorbonne, which proposes several interventions within the framework of demonstrations, debates and others to him song recitals between the prestigious walls of the aforesaid the Sorbonne. In 2001 Mathias Vincenot invites it to appear in the first edition of the “Anthologie of the New French Poets and French-speaking people” (ED. Jean Pierre Huguet). This anthology, signed Mr. Vincenot and Jean Luc Favre, will make the object, exceptional thing in the medium of poetry, one second edition in 2003. Seven poems of Gerard Ansaloni appear in this anthology.

In 2002 it produces its second album, still under the friendly crook of the editions Saravah, little looking on the incomes preceding album. It will be “the death of the Virgin”, album in whom will be made the good share with the old Master Olivier Cacouault who signs five musics for choral society. The album account 22 titles of which the “Continuation for the end of the century” which only adds up with it 20 minutes of active text and music of the jazz to the random music while passing by the Baroque musics, romantic, traditional, old, serial etc.

In September 2004, after a turn “to say” to the media library of Herblain Saint, a text of Ansaloni appears in a special and luxurious book published by this same media library. The text, “the poor search”, is illustrated by François Suppiot.

In 2006 are published “poetic humanities”, autobiographical novel, ridiculous and truculent account of the artistic adventures of Gerard Ansaloni.

He currently lives and works with Boulogne-sur-Mer.
