Gerald de Palmas

Gerald De Palmas is a Chanteur French, born with Saint-Denis of the Meeting the October 14th 1967.

Gerald De Palmas, from his true name Gerald Gardrinier, was born parents geometrician and professor from French. He took the name of his maternal grandmother Roxane De Palmas.

At the 10 years age, it leaves the Meeting to settle with Aix-en-Provence. At 13 years, Gerald discovers the Ska and becomes accro with the music. He meets in a discotheque, one evening, Etienne Daho which offers a contract to him and Gerald thus finds in the group the max Valentine .
But of group hardly Gerald likes the environment, who thus decides to leave the max Valentine and to go it alone. During 7 years, it will only compose its songs and in 1994, just after having gained the contest of the talent of tomorrow over M6, it leaves its very first album the last Year , which contains the tube On the Road . A victory of the Music in 1996 will enable him to prove that it succeeded well.
Thereafter, it will connect its 2nd album left in 1997, which is entitled the Natural laws (the same year is born its first child, a little boy named Victor), but which will not gain the success awaited by Gerald, surely because of a too sudden change on the level of the instrumental one.
Gérald is thus in “the pit” during 2 years and half.
And, in 2000, Jean-Jacques Goldman will leave it this tunnel by giving again confidence by him to him and by writing the word of to him I still dream of it. Gerald is fine loan to return on the road of success. He writes and composes 10 of the 12 songs of his new album Marcher in sand . The year 2002 is the year of the dedication: Victoire of the Music, NRJ music awards, a round of more than 180 concerts. Its songs will pass even the Atlantic, because Céline Dion takes again her tube Tomber (words of Maxime the Forester) in English ( Ten days ). End 2002, to have a memory of this marvellous round which posts complete in all the towns of France, Live 2002 leaves in DVD and CD. 2 years later, Gerald returns with its 4th album a man without roots , a more intimate album with more stripped musics but always the same style melancholic person. The round is a real success.
