Gerald Forton

Gerald Forton is a Dessinateur of Cartoon, born with Brussels on April 10th 1931. It is the grandson of Louis Forton, the author of the Nickelled Pieds .

Biography

He begins in 1950 by some complete accounts in Caméra 34.

In 1951, it draws Jim Cartouche , on scenario of Alex Risène, in Zorro Magazine and carries out some short stories in Bonnes evenings .

It enters to Spirou in 1952 by carrying out several stories of the uncle Paul.

In 1953, with Jean-Michel Charlier, it creates Kim Devil.

Of 1955 with 1956, it illustrates the blue garage and the adventures of Alain Cardan in Risk All.

In Spirou , in 1962, it creates Capitaine Morgan , in 1963, Roch Rafal and in 1964 Cyril Sinclair.

In Valiant, it includes Jacques Flash in 1959 and Teddy Ted in 1964 and creates the Mysteries of the West in 1975.

In 1959, it carries out two episodes of Tiger Joe in the Libre Junior .

Present also in Tintin , it draws Ben Barry in 1961, Grégory the sailor in 1962 and Calamity Jane in 1977.

It leaves then to the the United States at Marvel where it carries out boards of Arak , the Four Fantastic , Jonah Hex , John Sable and Nexus .

It takes part in the story board of the film Prince Valiant .
