Gerald Asamoah

Gerald Asamoah is a German player of Football born the October 3rd 1978 with Mampong (Ghana). Born in Ghana, it settles in Germany in 1990.

It gains with its club FC Schalke 04 the cut of Germany in 2001 and 2002.

The May 29th 2001, he became the third black player to carry the shirt of Nationalmannschaft, the German national team after Erwin Kostedde and Jimmy Hartwig (which is in fact mongrel). It takes part in the Football world cup in 2002 and belonged to the team selected in 2006. It counts 41 selections and 6 goals since 2001

Gerald Asamoah suffers from a cardiac pathology: the membrane separating its two venticules (right & left) is very fine and can cause a brutal cardiac arrhythmia. It carries a Défibrillateur making it possible to reduce this arrhythmia when it occurs.
