Georges Wilson (October 7th 1921 with Paris) is an actor French. He is the father of Lambert Wilson.

Biography

Georges Wilson follows the courses of Pierre Renoir to the school of the street Blanche in 1945.

Two years afterwards, it enters to the company Attic-Hussenot. In 1952, he is engaged by Jean Vilar with the Popular National theater (NPT) and occurs with the Festival of Avignon.

In 1963, it succeeds Jean Vilar with the direction of the NPT. Until its departure in 1972, he plays and puts in scene many traditional parts. He assembles in particular on the boards for the School of the women , and While waiting for Godot . He puts in scene Door - closed , as well as the opera, Falstaff .

He is also at the origin of the construction of the Gémier small room of the palate of Chaillot.

Since 1957, he teaches at the school of theater of Charles Dullin. On television, he interprets several telefilms, of which the Night of the kings (Claude Loursais, 1957), and the usher (Pierre Tchernia, 1990). Georges Wilson launches out in the writing and the realization with Vouivre in 1988.
