Georges Wauters

Georges Wauters was a local manager of the French interior Résistance in Champagne.

Lieutenant Georges Wauters (of Troyes), former member of the Left Social French the colonel François of Rocque, engages in resistance in contact with the free France as of October 1940. He organizes the Réseau Hector in the Aube in 1941, becomes regional military chief of CDLL, and takes the initiative to establish this movement in the Marne.

Tracked by the Gestapo, it leaves for England, returning to France with the Release.
