Georges Soubrier

Mgr Georges Soubrier was born on November 20th, 1933 in Thérondels (Aveyron). It was ordered priest on June 29th, 1960 for the Diocèse of Rodez and was allowed in the Compagnie of the priests of Saint-Sulpice (Sulpiciens) in 1961. Named auxiliary bishop of Paris on October 14th, 1988, it was devoted on June 25th, 1988 by the archbishop of Paris, the cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger. It is bishop of Nantes since October 10th, 1996.
