Georges Poisson
Georges Poisson , born the November 27th 1924 with Düsseldorf, is a Historien and Historien of art French.
General conservative of the Inheritance, it a long time directed the Musée of the Ile-de-France to Sceaux. He carried out many combat for the protection of the inheritance.
Among his many works on the history of Paris and the Ile de France, one can quote Napoleon I and Paris (1964) and the History of architecture in Paris (1997). One also owes him of many biographies, of which Mister of Saint-Simon and Choderlos de Laclos or Obstinacy , Goncourt purse of the biography. Some were crowned by the French Academy: the Valley-of-Marne (1968), History of the grand boulevards (1980), the Elysium: History of a palate (1980, Biguet Price) republished in 1999 under the title of History of the Elysium and Ten Centuries with Montfort-l' Amaury (1983, Price Georges Goyau).
It also published a work on the Parisian East in the collection “Evocation of Large Paris”, directed by Jacques Hillairet with the Editions of Midnight.
Georges Poisson is commander of the Légion of honor.
