Georges Pérol

Georges Pérol is the former managing director of the public Office of the HLM of Paris (OPAC).

Mayor of Meymac in Corrèze and vice-president of the general advice, Georges Pérol is introduced like “a friend of Jacques Chirac”. He could make profit the Center from contemporary art of his town of Meymac of important gifts of the companies suppliers of the OPAC. These same companies were also put at contribution for the financing of the list RPR to the regional elections of 1992 in the the Limousin.

The recipients of government contracts of office HLM of Paris largely financed (more than 5 franc million) the Musée of Contemporary art of Meymac or association Essor of the Limousin. After the departure of Georges Pérol of Opac, the museum of Meymac will note with regret a “crumbling” of the gifts.
