Georges Lane

Georges Lane is a French economist of the Austrian school, influenced in particular by Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk, Ludwig von Mises, Hans-Hermann Hoppe and Pascal Salin.

Selective biography

Georges Lane is graduate DEA 106 (1977) and doctor d' État in economic scenes (1979) and eminent university lecturer at the university Paris-Dauphine. Its thesis relates to " the inflation and the request for reserves internationales". Its Dauphine door teaching on the following fields of the discipline: economy of uncertainty, currency, finance, insurance.

It is one of the members of the " Economic research center of theory Jean-Baptiste Say" directed by Saline Pascal and one of the administrators of the " Association for economic freedom and the social progress " (ALEPS) that Jacques Garello chairs.

During several years, it directed with Jacques Garello, free the jourmal of the Economists , on Radio Courtesy until 2006, and collaborates since in the webradio Lumière 101.

He collaborated with the economist Jacques Rueff, in particular on what place gave to the article entitled " End of the era keynésienne" , Le Monde , 19 and 20 February 21st, 1976; english language version: " The End off the Keynesian Era gold When the Long Run Ran Out" , Euromoney , April 1976, pp.70-7. It took part, like Co-person in charge with Emil-Maria Claassen, and with the assistance of Lehrman Institute, with the publication of complete works of Jacques Rueff , Plon, Paris in four volumes: - Volume 1: Of the Paddle in the Twilight (Autobiography) , 1977; - Volume 2: monetary Theory in two books, 1979; - Volume 3: Economic policy in two books, 1979 and 1980; - Volume 4: the Social order , 1981.
