Georges Lacroix is a producer, Réalisateur of Cartoon film French and one of the pioneers of the Animation 3D in France.

Graduate of the University of decorative arts of Strasbourg, Georges Lacroix supplements his formation with the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the fine arts of Paris in 1963 and in parallel carries out a professional life devoted as of his beginnings with the Cartoon for the newspaper Pilote and with the drawing of humor. He will illustrate inter alia scenarios of Goscinny, Reiser, Fred. Then after a long career of illustrator in the French and foreign press, in the publicity, led jointly to the artistic director of the newspaper the Express train, it carries out 1973 with 1980 its first films video like independent realizer. Of 1980 with 1984 it will work for customers such as the Cité of sciences and industry, Dior, Lancôme or Hoechst. It is besides at this period that it will conceive and carry out with its partner Renato Flipper, its first film in synthesized images in partnership with INA.

In 1985 it creates the company Fantôme, studio of animation specialized in the synthesized images 3D and is devoted to the design, the realization and the series production animated with its partner Renato (Geometrical Fables and Insektors which will receive more than 30 international prizes including one Emmy Award). In 2000, it created company GL Consulting, specialized in the field of animation and the new technologies dedicated to the sound and the image. Georges Lacroix organizes International Conferences treating of new technologies and animation and sign the realization in the international specialized schools. It intervenes as a council and an expert in the field of the creation of contents and the realization of cartoon films near specialized companies both in France and abroad. One can quote inter alia among the organizations calling upon his expertise the Gobelins, the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, the Explosives magazine, the Institut of the image of the Indian Ocean, Supinfocom, the Royal College off Art, the DIGITAL Content Institute with Taiwan, Shanghai Institute off Film Art and Shanghai Zangjiang. As a realizer, it currently develops personal projects of cartoon films.
