Georges Dottin

Henri-Georges Dottin , born the October 29th 1863 with Liancourt (Oise) in a family of origin Irish and dead the January 11th 1928 with Rennes, was a Linguiste and professor of university French.

After studies with the College of Laval (Mayenne) then to the faculty of letters of Rennes, it is aggregate of grammar in 1890 and it supports a thesis of arts doctorate (Philologie) in 1896. Professor with the Faculty of Rennes. He asks the revision of the Dreyfus lawsuit Rennes. He is the founder of the Republican Cercle of State education of Ille-et-Vilaine, 1904 - 1927. Specialists in the languages and literatures Celtic of the studies of the Celtic legends. He devoted his life to the study of this civilization which impassioned it by publishing a great number of works and while collaborating in many reviews ( Celtic Revue, Revue History of the Religions, Annales of Brittany ).
