Georges David

Georges David is a French author born with Richelieu, in the Indre-et-Loire in 1878 and died with Mirebeau, in the Vienna, in 1963.

After having published in 1912 a collection of poems entitled the Roof which smokes and prefaced by Leon Bocquet, it was devoted primarily to the novel.

Among its works, in the more or less marked regionalistic character, appear in particular Cure-Bissac (1930), the Edge (1931), the Aristocrat (1933), Madeluche (1934) Pascaline (1938) and the city with dead water (1956).
