Georges Boris
Georges Boris is a politician, journalist and economist French, born in 1888 and deceased in 1960.
In 1927, it founds the newspaper the light. In 1938 he is principal private secretary of Leon Blum with the Ministry of Finances. He is the first to preach in France the economic theories keynésiennes, influencing Pierre Mendès France with which he writes a bill of economic planning rejected by the Senate.
Hostile with the agreements of Munich, it engages in 1939, at the 51 years age, then joined the de Gaulle general in London as of on June 19th, 1940. In 1941 it is responsible for the connections of free France with the BBC. He will play a big role in the reciprocal acceptance of the de Gaulle general and the Socialists, incentive the first to democratize his projects, while inviting Leon Blum to support it. In 1942 he becomes director of the national Police station inside and chairs the executive committee of propaganda, then is the civil representative of Comidac (Committee of action).
After the Release it carries out a new project of recovery of the French economy inspired by work of Keynes and Henri de Man. From 1946 to 1954 he is member of the French delegation at the Economic and Social Council of UNO, then becomes the adviser of his friend Pierre Mendès-France during his short but noticed experiment as a President of the Council.
