Georges Bidault of Isle , born with Paris on December 4th, 1874 and died in 1956, is a Astronome and writer French.

Biography

Of a Burgundian long line , wire of magistrate, Georges Bidault of Isle make his studies with the Fénelon College, then with the college Sainte Beard in Paris. It obtained a license of letters, a license of sciences and a doctorate in right.

Mobilized in 1914 as warrant officer in the units of reserve, it is wounded during the routing of reinforcements and supply on the face of Verdun.

Georges Bidault of Isle was Vice-président of the astronomical Société of France rested by his friend Camille Flammarion. He produced during his existence, of many works and scientific articles in specialized magazines. At the end of its life, it considered the customs and habits of Burgundy while making appear in 1951 a very complete work in 2 volumes, heading “the old sayings of our campaigns” Very nowadays required this work became practically untraceable.
