The museum Georges-Labit is located on the banks of the Canal of the South at Toulouse in the district of the Young ladies. It is a house of style Mauresque placed in the middle of a small public garden. It was built such as it is in the middle of the 19th century. Its name comes from the traveller and collector Georges Labit which lived of 1862 with 1899. This last gathered during its voyages a collection of exotic objects:
