George Sullivan

George " Red" Sullivan (born the December 24th 1929 with Peterborough in the Ontario, Ontario) was a professional player Canadian of Hockey of the National league of hockey.

He played as a center in the LNH of 1949 with 1961 in the following franknesses:

He was also trainer of Rangers then Penguins de Pittsburgh.

Career of player

Career of trainer

Following its career of player, Sullivan became the trainer of Rangers starting from half of the Saison LNH 1962-63. It then occupies this station during three years by gaining only 38 matches out of 196 played.

In 1967, Sullivan becomes the first trainer of the new frankness from Pittsburgh and makes come with him eleven players from Rangers to form the framework of the team. There remain two years with the head of Penguins.
