George Preas

George Preas , born the June 25th 1933 with Roanoke (Virginia) and deceased the February 24th 2007, was a player of American football of NFL.

Biography

Student with Virginia Tech, it played with Hokies in attack and defense. He is member of the Hall off Famed of Hokies since 1983.

Drafté by Baltimore Colts, it played 136 matches in 11 seasons in NFL and gained two titles NFL in 1958 and 1959. It was in particular determining at the time of the finale in 1958 by carrying out a perfect block making it possible the Colts to tear off the victory in the ultimate seconds. Calm and modest, it was called " George Priest" by its fellow-members.
