George Mitchell

George Mitchell (1867 - 1937) was briefly the third Prime Minister for the colony Britannique of Southern Rhodesia of the July 5th 1933 with the September 12th 1933.

George Mitchell was born on April 1st, 1867 with the the United Kingdom.

In 1889, it emigrates in South Africa.

In 1895, it settles with Bulawayo, the Matabeleland, in Southern Rhodesia, as bank manager.

From 1918, it makes a political career within Rhodesian Reform Party. It succeeds the Prime Minister Howard Unwin Moffat, outgoing in July 1933.

In September 1933, following the elections, it must leave the capacity to Godfrey Huggins.

Mitchell died the July 4th 1937.
