George MacDonald
George MacDonald , born the December 10th 1824 in Huntly, in Scotland, and dead the September 18th 1905 with Ashstead, in England, was a Scottish writer ; he was also Pasteur calvinist. Its literary work, little known today, caused admiration, inter alia W.H. Auden, G.K. Chesterton and J.R.R. Tolkien. C.S. Lewis regarded it as her “Master”.
