George Hamilton-Gordon
George Hamilton-Gordon , count of Aberdeen, is a statesman born in 1784 with Edinburgh, died in 1860.
It was, after the fall of Napoleon Bonaparte, one of the signatories of the treaty with Louis XVIII; belonged to the cabinet of the duke of Wellington (1828) and of R. Peel (1834 and 1841), and chaired a mixed cabinet made up of whigs; peelists and radicals, which made conclude an offensive and defensive alliance with France (1852 - 1855).
