George Forster , English traveller of the 18th century
Attached to the Company of the Indies, he studied the Eastern languages deeply, and could, using this knowledge, to visit in 1782 all the country which extends between the Bengal and the Perse; he returned in England by the Russia, and published in 1790 the relation of his voyage.
He had made appear as of 1785 interesting a Essai on the mythology of the Hindus . He died in 1792 with Allahabad, at the moment when he was going to undertake new voyages.
