George Dalgarno (1626 - 1687), Scottish scientist, born with Aberdeen.

It published in London in 1661: Ars signorum, vulgo character universalis and lingua philosophica , work in which he proposes a universal Langue founded on a methodical classification of the ideas. Already John Wilkins, as of 1641, had covered this subject.
