George Crumb

George Crumb (born the October 24th 1929 with Charleston) is a American Compositeur of Modern music.

Biography

George Crumb starts to compose as of her more young age. He studies the music with the Université of Illinois with Urbana-Champaign, then briefly with Berlin before returning to the United States to study with the Université of Michigan, where he obtains his Doctorat in 1959. He receives in 1968 the Prix Pulitzer in music.

He is the prize winner 2001 Grammy Awards .
