Georg Stiernhielm

Georg Stiernhielm (August 7th 1598 - April 22nd 1672) was a Poète Swedish, which is known like “the father of Swedish poetry”. He was the first to write poems in Swedish with the meters of the old poets, for example the Hexamètre. Its most known poem is Hercules , a great poem hexametric. He also wrote poems in Latin. In an original manner its name was Jöran Olofsson , but when the queen Kristina ( Christine ) has it anobli, it changed its name into Georg Stiernhielm.
