Geography of Vienna
Vienna occupies the site of the old depression which separated the Massif Central from the Armorican Massif and qualified “Seuil of Poitou”. Junction point between north and midday, it is in a natural corridor which leads Paris basin to the Aquitanian Bassin, which makes a zone of passage of it.
