Geography of Costa Rica
The Costa Rica is located at the center of the Isthme of Central America, with 80° in the north of the equator and 84° in the west of the meridian line of Greenwich. The country is surrounded at the same time by the Caribbean Sea on the Eastern frontage, and by the Pacific Ocean in the west. Costa Rica counts 1.290 km of coasts (212 km on the Caribbean Sea and the remainder on the Pacific Ocean).
In north, the Nicaragua has a common border of 309 km. In south-east, the Panama with 639 km of border is. The surface is 51.000 km ².
