Geografía de Paquistán

The vedic measurement of time uses the units described below:

Metric sidereal

  • a pranamu is the normal Intervalle of Clignement of eye at the man, either roughly 4 second S,

  • a vighadiya is worth 6 pranamus, or roughly 24 seconds;
  • a ghadiya is worth 60 vighadiyas, that is to say roughly 24 minute S;
  • a Muhurta is equal to 2 ghadiyas, that is to say roughly 48 minutes;
  • a will nakshatra ahoratram or sidereal Jour is equivalent to 30 muhurtas. (note: one day starts with the paddle and finishes with the Crépuscule, not with Minuit.)

Small units of time used in the vedas

  • a leekshakamu is the 60e of a pranamu, or 15th one second,

  • a lavamu is the 60e of a leekshakamu, or the one second 900ème,
  • a renuvu is the 60e of a lavamu, or the 54  one second 000ème,
  • a truti is the 60e of a renuvu, or time that it is necessary for a Aiguille to penetrate in a Feuille of lotus, or the 3  240  one second 000ème.

Metric lunar

  • the Tithi (written thithi sometimes) or lunar Jour is defined like the time necessary with the longitudinal Angle between the the Moon and the Sun to increase by 12 °. The tithis start at variable hours of the day and have one duration which varies roughly from 19 to 26 hours.

  • a paksa or lunar Quinzaine is composed of 15 tithi';
  • a massed or lunar Mois (roughly 29.5 days) is divided into 2 paksas: that between the the New moon and the full moon is called will gaura (the luminous one); that between full moon and the new moon bears the name of Krishna (sinks it)
  • 2 months lunar form a Ruthu ;
  • 3 Ruthu composes 1 Aayanam ;
  • 2 Aayana gives 1 Année.

Metric tropical

  • a jamu is worth 7 ½ dhadiya ;

  • 8 jamu is worth half of the day (day or night)
  • a ahoratram is a tropical Jour (note: as previously, a day starts with the paddle and finishes with the Crépuscule, not with Minuit.)

The years are grouped in Yuga S or ages :

  • a cycle including/understanding the four yuga opposite is a mahâyuga (4  320  000 solar years);
  • a will manvantara is composed of 71 mahâyugas (306  720  000 solar years)
  • after each will manvantara follows a Sandhi Kala one duration of 1  728  000 solar years. During Sandhi Kala, the whole ground is submerged by water.
  • a Kalpa is composed one period of 1  728  000 solar years, called Adi Sandhi , followed from 14 will manvantaras and Sandhi Kala for a total of 1000 mahâyugas is 4  320  000 000 solar years.
  • Two Kalpa (one day and a night) constitutes one day of Brahmâ; the life cycle of Brahmâ is one hundred years of Brahmâ , or 311.040 billion years: that is to say 1 Maha-kalpa.

According to Hindu cosmogony, Brahmâ creates the universe each one of its days then reinstates it in him each one of its nights, in the form of potentiality. All in all, by using the vocabulary of current cosmology, each day of Brahma starts with a Big Bang and ends in a Big Crunch. But, at the end of the life cycle of Brahma, the universe will reabsorb in the unutterable spirit of the world and a new creative god will begin a cycle of creation.

Kâlî Yuga

According to this cosmogony, our current time is the Kâlî Yuga which would have begun towards -3000 at the time when the war of the Mahâbhârata would have taken place, which would imply that there remain 427.000 years to be lived in this age.

Kâlî Yuga: its subdivisions.

- each " âge" or Yuga itself is subdivided, according to report/ratio 4,3,2,1. and the 432000 years of the Kali yuga are it also thus according to: (4+3+2+1 = 10, therefore 10 X 43200 years.), and always according to the same distribution, or subdivisions again in: krita , treta , will dwapara and kali yuga, is:

- current the Krita Yuga = 43200 X 4 = 172800 years (and it is in this subdivision there, that we have entered for 5000 years surroundings, we are thus for 167800 more years in this " age of or" black age.). Subdivisions still to come from this current " age of Kâlî" , will be as follows: the Treta yuga one duration 129600 years, the Dwapara yuga one duration 86400 years, and end this subdivision a Kâlî Yuga one duration 43200 years.

The system of the four yugas points out the four ages of the ancient Greece, and they share sometimes the same denominations of iron and bronze, money, golden age, which one found in the Perse antique, which could indicate a common origin.
