Geoffroi II of Provence

Geoffroy II , died towards 1065, was count de Provence of 1051 to its death. It was wire of Foulques Bertrand, count de Provence, and of Hildegarde Euzia .

In 1044, it is quoted with his father and his brother Guillaume V Bertrand in a donation in favor of the Abbaye of Saint-Victor of Marseilles.

With his brother Guillaume Bertrand, it succeeded in 1051 his father and thus became count de Provence in joint possession with his uncle Geoffroi and its cousin Emma, widow of the count Guillaume III of Toulouse. It is also quoted in a deed of gift, in 1063. He dies about 1065 without leaving children of his Emengarde wife.
