Genzano di Roma is a common Italian of the Province of Rome in the area Latium in Italy.
Geography
Genzano di Roma is located at 27 km in the south of Rome, in the zone of the Castelli romani, on the top of the crater which overhangs the Lac of Nemi.
Festivals, fairs
Genzano is known for the Infiorata which has been for two centuries, the day of the Corpus Christi, popular demonstration of art. Via Livia , the street which leads to the church Santa Maria della Cima is covered over all its length, which represents two thousand square meters, of a carpet of flowers.
